Doctor’s Comments
This patient had a history of breast augmentation using Allergan style 15 silicone implants, placed in 2015 by another San Diego area plastic surgeon, under the muscle, through periareolar incisions. She says that the right breast never dropped and was instructed to perform implant massage and wear a band. Despite massage and the use of a band, she reported worsening right breast hardening and pain that started shortly after surgery. Size of the implants were 371cc on the left and 397cc on the right. Her bra size was 36DD. She felt that the breasts were too large and did not want to deal with the possibility of recurrent capsular contracture if she had her breast implants replaced. She decided to undergo surgery with Dr. Park who performed a total capsulectomy, removal of her implants and breast lift using wise pattern/anchor type of incisions. Her before and after photos show her results 3 months after her surgery.
