Doctor’s Comments
This patient had undergone a breast augmentation by another San Diego area plastic surgeon using silicone implants placed under the muscles through axillary (arm pit) incisions. She was not happy with the appearance of her breasts. She felt that her implants were too high giving her breasts unusual shapes. She also complained of animation deformity when she flexed her chest muscles. She consulted with Dr. Gregory Park who recommended Mentor Memory Shape Gummy Bear Anatomic (tear drop) shaped implants for this revision breast augmentation surgery. 270cc Tall Height Moderate Plus Profile shaped breast implants were placed under the pectoralis muscle in a dual plane split muscle pocket to reduce the chance of animation deformity. After breast augmentation this patient’s bra size was increased from 34C to 34D. Her before and after photos show her results at 6 months.
