Doctor’s Comments
This patient reported chronic pain in her left chest and scapula after undergoing her breast augmentation. She had undergone a breast augmentation using saline implants and a donut mastopexy/breast lift, as well as a second surgery to repair her pocket and revise her areola scar by another plastic surgeon 12 years prior to choosing Dr. Gregory Park to perform her explant and revision breast lift. She was concerned that her implant was causing the pain and breast implant illness. She underwent revision surgery with Dr. Park who performed a total EnBloc capsulectomy, removal of her implants and revision breast lift using wise pattern/anchor type of incisions. She reported resolution of her pain and was very happy with the improved appearance and size of her breasts after the revision breast lift and implant removal. Her before and after photos show her results 3 months after her surgery.
