Doctor’s Comments
This patient underwent double mastectomies for cancer in both breasts. After she recovered from her mastectomies she consulted with Dr. Gregory Park, Oceanside plastic surgeon, to discuss her options for breast reconstruction surgery. She decided to undergo a 3 stage reconstruction. The first stage involved the placement of breast tissue expanders to stretch and shape the patient’s chest skin. The second stage removed the expanders and replaced them with anatomic silicone breast implants. The third and final stage involved nipple reconstruction. She is seen here after completion of all three stages of her reconstruction.
