Your VI Peel™ treatment may be further specialized in one of two ways:
Precision is a booster formulated to complement the VI Peel™. It is made from the same synergistic blend of ingredients as the VI Peel™, but at a higher concentration for a 25% stronger treatment. Precision is an excellent addition for treating hyperpigmentation, age spots on the hands, arms or chest, and actinic keratosis.
Precision Plus is the latest breakthrough for age-defying, radiant skin. It is an even more powerful booster that is added to VI Peel™ to create the ultimate treatment choice for dramatic results, especially on conditions like UV-induced and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
VI Peel™ can be an excellent choice for patients with one or more of the symptoms listed above on the face or body. It is meant for patients of all skin types (from 1 to 6 on the Fitzpatrick scale).
During your VI Peel™ appointment, a trained and licensed aesthetician carefully applies the product to the skin. We will take great care to ensure all desired treatment areas are covered. If we are using Precision or Precision Plus as well, these will also be administered at this time. After a few minutes, the solutions are removed from the skin.
VI Peel™ only involves a brief recovery period (typically about a week) when the skin is actively peeling. Do not pick at your skin during this time.
The cost of your VI Peel™ treatment will depend on the amount of product used and whether boosters are added. Scheduling additional appointments will also affect the total price.
